Pillowcase Dresses!!

Sooooooo, I had alot on my mind the other day, and I decided to break out Adalia for some major sewing. But instead of making something for me, I wanted to finally make something for my demon cousins, since I haven't made them anything to wear yet..

And that's when it came to me!! My boyfriend's sister wanted to know what a "pillowcase dress" was and wanted me to make one for her (or her baby, I don't know yet), and I told her that I'd be on it. She offered me the fabric (or pillowcase) to make it, and I shall look forward to doing business with her.. but in the meantime, I wanted to practice with my cousins, and see how much I can do with some fabric cut as a pillowcase. Plus, I had alot of that pink polka dotty fabric lying around and wasn't using it, and the girls like pink, so I wanted to make them one. And it worked!

Btw, the pillowcase dress can be for children or adults, so no worries about wanting one. If you'd like to request this dress, you know what to do: contact me, we'll find either fabric or pillowcase, and we'll get started right away!

Enjoy!

Super Awesome Stretchy Stripey Dress!!

So this dress is pretty awesome-ness here!!!

Made it the day before Memorial Day and it doesn't take too long to make! It's made of some really cool stretch cotton, so there's no difficulty in putting it on or taking it off.. My mom has already requested me to make her the same one, and there's no problem with that...

(Vest not included....)
If anyone else wants to request this dress in the same or different colors (I'll try to look for some, or send me some fabric), you know what to do: Give me a ring-a-ding and let me measure you. I'll charge only $20, as a really good price, and it's simple and stretchy, yet affordable.

Enjoy!!

Stripey Assymetric Dress

I had put a lot of work and errors into making this and I thought it wouldn't take too long to make.... guess I was wrong. But all that work was worth it.

I enjoyed making this dress (and correcting and improvising ALL the mistakes haha), and it was a real stress-reliever. Of course, the week before I was searching the internet for some ideas and inspirations, and I also took a trip to the Galleria for more ideas (because I know all the dress and/or skirts I've seen were waaayy too expensive for me anyways -- THAT'S why I make my own clothing!!) and made mental sketches (and transferred them to paper =]). And I saw this very same fabric/idea of this dress at Hot Topic, so that was already on my list of ideas, just more of my little flair onto it =]

Anyhoo, I already had the skirt made long ago, but I cut it so that it can be assymetrical and added extra fabric, then the corset was the most troublesome, but I eventually got it together (at least got it to fit me -.-'). If I do say so myself, it did come out very awesomely smexiful. I love how it made me relax though, although it did take me a day and a half to finish... but hell, it was worth it!

(also made a matching bow ^^)-->

If you would like to request for me to make this dress in your size, you know what to do: Send me any fabric or money for it (because I'm out of stripey fabric due to the dress...) get about 3 yards at most if you can, and it doesn't have to be stripey; you can get whatever fabric you want; let me take your measurements, and I'll sell it for $50. And that's me just being very nice, because all the hard work, I can really go for $75... yeah. (ooooh, I just noticed I'm selling it for the same price as Hot Topic... and now I see why) So yes, I can take requests for assymetrical dresses or only assymetric skirts.
