Environmental Committee Fashion & Recycling Show!

I know this is pretty last minute, but due to postponing the date a number of times, late preparation, poor planning, and insufficient supplies, we may or may not have this show go down. But there's still some hope!

I know in the earlier posts that the FashRecycling show was going to be in February, but the date had been changed 3 times. We originally had 3 designers (including me), then a fourth one came into the mix. We finally settled on a date, time, and room at HCC-Central, but still didn't have nearly as much as we wanted. Just then, at the last minute, 2 of our designers dropped out due to their personal circumstances, so it's just only me, and the Environmental Committee chairwoman Medina Baitemirova (just exactly how it was from the start). We both had planned this for months, but not planned enough to have any decor, models, or mannequins provided. So unfortunately, the chair wanted to call it quits.

There still may be a chance for Glam Rock to get some publicity and show the material to the rest of the school who still haven't a clue what the hell 'Glam Rock Glory Days' is. So, here are the deets, my fair fireflies:

The Environmental Fashion & Recycling Show will be held on Wednesday, April 20th in rm. 100 LHSB (Learning Hub Science Building) HCC-Central at 6 pm. If it does go on, the chairwoman and I will only be showing our creations, and I will be selling accessories during and after the show, so come and see what you want ;] There may also be a Q & A, so feel free to ask anything you want to know about Glam Rock and what's it all about.

Hopefully I can get together with the chair for some last minute arrangements. If the show goes on, I will be handing out quarter-flyers in Gothic Lolita-esque attire around and/or outside the school, so look for me. Let's hope we can make this work, for Glam Rock!!! ^^
